Alaskan Brewing: Summer
Name: Alaskan Brewing: Summer
Brewed In/Type: Juneau, AK / Kolsch
Bought at/Price: Brewery / n/a
Dennis: Never a big fan of the Kolsch style of beer as I tend to gravitate towards the higher alcohol brews. As a summer brew thought this does pretty well, it's slightly sweet with a malty backbone. Little to no hops dominate here, but it is a safe choice against any macro brew beer.
Jen: This seems to be a little sweet for my pallette. The sweentess deinitely comes from the malts. I know there are hops in there, but it doesn't seem to dissipate the sweetness. The body is nice and smooth so it makes it easy to drink, but overall, I don't find it to be the best of the Alaskan brews.
