Dennis: Ginger ale this is not, as Jen said below this is what real ginger tastes like, but on a malty, brown aleish body. Subtle and not overpowering, the ginger taste doesn't come across as chemically or artificial.
Jen: I find this beer to be exactly what it says to be: a mild ginger brew. It has a light to medium body and goes down quite easily. Don't think that this is going to be sweet like ginger ale. It is much more like the "spiciness" of how ginger root smells. It also has an extremely mild malt flavor, but is also backed with a slight nut brown flavor. I like it because it is something different and stands out from other brews.
