Dennis: I really like this beer for some reason. The label says it's name is "a.k.a Ballard Bitter", and rightfully so. This beer leaves a bitter taste in your mouth afterwards probably due to the strong carbonation and high hop taste. Because I love hoppy beers this was a great strong point to me, but some might not be as forgiving for a beer that isn't sure if it's an IPA, an ESB or a Pils. However you feel, the strength of this beer at 6.5% will sneak up on you and take your wallet if your not careful. I recommend this for hoppy, bitter brew likers.
Jen: IMHO, this is an other great brew by Redhook. It is a lighter bodied IPA as compared to others, but I do enjoy its change of pace. It's hoppiness isn't very strong and the aftertaste doesn't linger that long. It is crisp, mild and refreshing, but by no means a "traditional" IPA. It is good if you are looking for something different, and I would definitely drink this anytime.
