Dennis: Wow tart. This is a very interesting beer. Somewhat reminescent of the Bell's Cherry Stout (but I think less tart and without a cherry taste). It probably has something to do with the beet sugar or green raisins used to make this brew. Kind of like doritos the first bite/sip is always the strongest and you get used to the flavor pretty soon. It's a good beer, and even has 8% alcohol content but you really don't taste much aside from bitterness....for it's price I probably buy a different beer next time.
Oh....and the cap is cool :)
Jen: Definitely a tart brew. It is very hearty with a sharpness to it. At first, your mouth is really overwhelmed with the flavor, but then it almost leaves behind a sweetness. I really enjoy it, but then again I like things that are sweet and tart all at the same time.
