Sorry Naruto, It's not you....it's me.

I had real high hopes for Naruto Rise of a Ninja on the xbox 360. The graphics loooked really good, and the reviews almost all said it was the best naruto game to date.
But after almost throwing my controller into the wall yesterday I just had to take it back. The graphics are great, and being able to freely roam the village from the get go was amazing, but that's where the good stuff ends. While the game has RPG elements, the battle system is pure 100% fighter....and if you are no good at fighting games (aka me) then your just going to get angry. I couldn't block right, couldn't get a jutsu off half the time, and when I did the button mini game usually meant I missed entirely.
Aside from my old hands not being quick enough, there were a few other issues. The enemy models were so limited, you ended up fighting the same guy 50x's. The tree top scenes were frustrating, and went so fast at the end I couldn't visually keep up. And let's not forget the voice acting....oh dear god.....did they even try to get the original actors? And if not then fine I under stand....but for the love of christ at least get somebody who can say the lead characters name right! And it's "sakura" not "sack-cure-a"......
This game had so much potential....it's such a shame really. At least on the other hand Bionic Command: ReArmed came out. The demo has me totally excited to buy this game, here's some gameplay:

Hey there - I havent been to your site in a while, ever since I was searching for excursions for my Alaskan Cruise and came across your site with a review on it.
You were right, the Bike and Brew was worth it. It was raining and our cruise to Alaska was the last one of the season so no one else wanted to bike through the rain and mud so our group was the only ones on the tour, which was awesome because we got personal treatment and were able to work with the guide to customize the tour. We made a few side trips he normally doesn't take groups on to a waterfall and a meadow. Really cool stuff. Thanks for the review.
Anyways I still had your site saved in my Favorites and thought I'd read back up on the happs.
I grabbed BC Rearmed for the PS3 and have been pleased with the results. The level layouts are just like the NES title with a few exceptions where Grin tool the liberity to "improve" the flow here and there.
I've went through the game in about 3 days now I'm going back and getting all the secrets. If you collect them all it will unlock a new appearance and possibly a new weapon in the new version which comes out later this year for both platforms.
Anyways, have fun if you pick it up and keep enjoying the good brew.
Great site BTW - I know it takes a good bit of work to keep it updated.
