Well, IMHO, being sick while on vacation in a tropical paradise is worse than being sick while traveling for business. :)

Yes there is ... going to Hawaii on vacation and getting a sinus infection.

I would have to agree with the whole vacation thing, but being sick while you are away from the comforts of your own sucks, either way. But I have you both beat; being sick and being a flight attendant (which I was at some point). Taking off and landing three times a day recks havoc on your sinuses/nose/eyes/brain/any mayor organ when you don't feel well!

Ok, Jen, you win.
I have to admit ... if I'm sick at work, I can either go home early or just tell everyone to leave me alone and I code in missery.
Not so easy flying at 30k feet ... can't just say to the pilot: I'm not feeling well, so I'm going home early.
FWIW: When I was sick in Maui I ended up going to Maui Memorial Hospital's ER ... 'cause my HMO plan only covered emergency room when I couldn't see my primary care doctor.

Well..pretty much I'm in the same boat. Apparently where I am at has a high pollen count. Either way i'm miserable.
