So today we decided to go to a petting zoo with Melissa and Violet. She suggested coming over to play since the weather was so perfect, but we thought it would be even more fun to pack a picnic lunch and head over to Randall Oaks Barnyard Zoo. We got to see lots of different animals and got to feed them too. There were llamas, cows, sheep, deer, lynx, geese, chickens, peacocks, ducks, horses and goats, and probably more that I just can’t remember. Here are some pictures to recap our fun morning:

So I had my 2 year pictures done a few weeks ago, and I thought that I would share them. We have started using the same photographer because she does great with kids and got me to smile!

I actually had a lot of fun, but I wasn’t as generous as Connor was and I did not share the spotlight:)

So daddy has decided that he needs to get back in shape, not that he is a fat blob, but he sits all day for a living and doesn’t get in any cardio exercise. So “uncle” Steve is letting him borrow a bike and he bought us a bike trailer so we could go riding in it. Here are some pics of our first ride with him:

So mommy has been crocheting me a new blanket for my big boy bed. She started a few months ago and it is really for this winter since it is made of a wool blend (a little warm for this 90+ degree weather). Anyway, here are some pictures of the completed project.

We had lots of fun playing in the sprinklers today. We especially loved trying to drink out of the sprinkler. Here are some fun pics we would like to share:

It is so hot today, mommy decided to splurge and give us some ice cream for dessert. It was so yummy. I especially liked the ice cream soup at the end:

So mommy & daddy took us to Abt because their audio/video receiver decided to kick the bucket. Even after daddy tried to fix it by taking it apart, it just wouldn’t work. Anyway, off to Abt we went. It has a HUGE fishtank, a water fountain and a theater room set up with pint-sized lazy boys. Here are some pictures from it.

We had lots of fun and I threw an all out tantrum when daddy said it was time to go.
