So yesterday we celebrated my second birthday. We were planning an outside party so thank goodness the flash flood downpours ended early and the backyard had enough time to dry out. Lots of my friends were there. Violet came with her mommy, Melissa. Arabella & Colin came with their mommy& daddy, Kristin & Rick. Aunt Boo Boos (aka Terri) and Uncle John came. And of course we skyped with Grammie as I opened my presents (via laptop outside on the deck). Here are some pictures of the event:

Since the party was outside, mommy & daddy waited until today to give me my “big” present. It was a kitchen. now I can help mommy make dinner:

And lastly a picture of my giant birthday cookie. I liked the icing the best:

Thanks to everyone that came! I love all of my new toys, books and clothes. Can’t wait until next year to do it all over again!
We have playdates with Violet quite often and we really enjoy them. Here are some pictures that mommy has been forgetting to post for everyone to see:

So mommy and daddy decided that it was time for our first trip to the movies. They brought Amelia and I to see Toy Story 3. We met Violet there with her mommy and daddy and it was her first movie experience as well. It actually went really well. Melissa, Violet’s mommy, shared her popcorn with us and it was yummy. I sat through the whole movie and so did Amelia. I got a little scared at one part and climbed in Daddy’s lap and Amelia did start getting a little antsy at the end, but all in all daddy and mommy said that it went better than they expected. Here are some pictures of us at the theater. Sorry some of them are dark, but mommy’s iphone doesn’t have a flash.
Can’t wait to go see our next movie, but I am sure that is a ways off since my new baby sister will be here in the fall.
