WARNING:
LOADING THE IMPROPER KERNEL, OR THE WRONG FILE CAN RENDER THIS PIECE OF EQUIPMENT INOPERABLE. BE VERY CAREFUL ABOUT WHAT YOU INSTRUCT THEM TO DO, AND ALWAYS CONFIRM THE SOURCE OF THE KERNEL OR CONFIGURATION FILE.

Below is a picture of the main screen of the software included with the CPE. Note this is an outdated version, however, the concepts remain the same, and the button should still perform the same rudimentary tasks.

Main Screen:

Tools Page:
-This will be the only useful option for our purposes in resolving any configuration issues

Upgrade / Backup:
-This is what we will use for restoring a configuration or replacing a kernel

Restoring a Kernel Example:
-This would be used to replace a corrupted kernel. You would make sure the "Firmware" radio button is selected and then press the "Upgrade" Button. You will get the following window requesting that you select the correct kernel (a.k.a Firmware) file for upload.

-Next you will get a confirmation screen similar to the one below

-Once you press the "Yes" button you will see the following

-Once the bar reaches 100% you will then be prompted to reboot the router, and will see this screen once you select "Yes".

NOTES:
-If the program prompts for an IP address before it reboots, simply type in 192.168.254.254.
-This process can also be used to backup and existing configuration, and kernel.
