Dennis: Previous Review "I'll play the nice cop on this one. It's not crap, but honestly I wouldn't drink it again. Coffee and beer do not a good combination make. It left me all caffinated at a time when I was supposed to be relaxed and just kinda messed me up. Plus the taste is not smooth at all. The closest thing I can compare it to is spruce flavored liquid shit. Plus as an added bonus since Jen didn't like her's I got to finish what she had left. We still have two bottles left, and I expect them to be there for a while. Even out lasting the vanilla extract and nyquil in an unexpected alcohol shortage. Maybe if we're lucky we can pass this crap off on unexpecting guests like Tim or Rick :)"End old review. Perhaps time has changed me a bit. While I still didn't really enjoy this beer we wanted to try it again because we were curious if our tastes have changed. And while I find myself able to drink this easier, I still can't get past the funky sourness that reminds me of spoiled milk. I'm afraid I still don't think this is exactly done as well as it could be.
Jen: Previous Review: "Crap, pure crap. Not will I never ever drink this again but I will never let any one ever purchase it to drink. It doesn't taste like coffee and it doesn't smell like it either. Don't bother, this isn't worth it. I would rather drink my coffee with a side of beer than this." End old review. I wouldn't say that this is a good brew, but it is distinctive. It has a weird sour smell and taste to it. This totally reminds me of another beer we have had but not done nearly as well. It is almost like they bottle a burnt latte that was made with oversteamed/burnt milk. I don't find this to be all that good, but is is better than my previous review.

That bad eh? I bought a variety eight pack from Lakefront which listed that as one of the beers included but of course it was missing. I complained to them via e-mail and they said they were going to send me some for me and my friends! Never happened. Maybe that's a good thing afterall.
