Young's: Waggledance Honey Ale

Name: Young's: Waggledance Honey Ale
Brewed In/Type: London, England / Ale
Bought at/Price Woodman's / $2.49 each
Dennis: Maybe it's me, but I didn't really get a lot of honey out of this, and what I did was a muted, chemically sort of back taste. There was a nice hop finish to the swallow, but beyond that this wasn't anything amazing. Pretty easy to drink, a little over carbonated, this certainly won't offend anyone. But as Jen says below, I would also rather have a different brew.
Jen: I find this to be sort of boring. There really isn't too much to it. This is a typical tasting ale with a lot of carbonation. The final taste is of honey, but it is almost artificial in taste. It also has a slightly hoppy bitter aftertaste, but I also feel that it is almost metallic. This isn't terrible by any means, but I would pass for a better Young's brew.
Rating: 3 out of 5
