Pyramid: Thunder Head IPA

Name: Pyramind: Thunder Head IPA
Brewed In/Type: Seattle, WA / IPA
Bought at/Price Woodman's / $6.49 6pack
Dennis: Pyramid breweries is sort of like a gypsy in my book. Always changing names and labels to their brews. Are they Pyramid? Are they MacTarnahan's? Either way, this offering from them is a nice deviation from the standard APA. Lacking in cascade hops, and instead showcasing Columbus hops this leaves a wonderful bitterness behind that any hop head will love in an IPA. The aroma is also hop heavy, which means they went through the trouble of dry hopping it. The price is reasonable, and the taste is as well. At 6.7% this is an IPA worth having.
Jen: Quite nice, if I do say so myself. It has a nice dry bitter hop taste to it with a medium to light body and a mouthful of carbonation. It is very good and goes down smoothly. I find this to be a must have in any IPA lover's fridge. Definitely give this a shot.
