Dennis: I am sure there are people in this world who enjoy this, and if they were here I'd give all of it to them for free happily. I just can't get beind this smoke beer thing. It's just way, waaaaay to strong. The only thing I've achieved here is making myself drink two of them since Jen won't finish hers...and she's crying in the corner. Oh dear lord...what I have done.
Jen: I don't know why people think this is sooo good. I still get lil smokies. I will always pass on this. I would rather drink water even if the beer was free and I had to pay for water.

Had my first taste of Schlenkerla rauchbeir nearly 40 years ago in Bamberg with a nice liverwurst sandwich. It takes some getting use to, but now it is one of my favorite treats.
