Michelob: Amber Bock

Name: Michelob: Amber Bock
Brewed In/Type: St. Louis, MO / Dopplebock
Bought at/Price Costco Seasonal Variety pack (18 bottles) / $16.59
Dennis: This is not a bad beer per say. It isn't designed to go after the big name micro brews like Sam Adam's or Vicotry. For what it is it's not bad...cheap american beer with a slight taste of malt. But when I say slight.... I mean slight. If I dranks a Michelob Golden Draft Light, and the pissed in a cup, added a dash of malt...you'd probably have the same taste. Not bad, but if you believe this is a full bodies, rich malty brew you should be sterilized and then poked with a very sharp stick.
Jen: Not really worth the try. You might as drink Clearly Canadian instead of H2O to get the same amount of "extra" flavor as this is compared to Michelob. It has a slightly (and when I say slightly, I mean it) stronger malt flavor with a light body and no aftertaste. It is just a glorified macro American brew. Thanks, but I will stick to anything Sam Adam's over this.
