Great Lakes: Elliot Ness

Name: Great Lakes Brewery: Elliot Ness
Brewed In/Type: Cleveland, OH / Amber Lager
Bought at/Price Woodman's / $6.69 6 pack
Dennis: While the price was a bit offsetting this is a fine brew. Strong in body with a bitterness (I believe from the barley) that is complemented by a strong hop presence this is an IPA (India Pale Ale) lover's delight. A light body means this is perfect for when you don't want a hearty stout but crave a beer with some character. Kinda like when you crave burnt toast :)
Jen: This beer gives you a nice full flavor with a nice hoppy after taste. It has a nice mild malt/barley flavor that has a medium body and a slight bitterness to it. It is a decent beer with a burnt taste that is delicious.
