who said sunday was a day of rest
In preperation of christmas coming we've made a lot of progress finishing up the trimwork in the foyer today. Believe it or not this took most of the day pretty much, and my back hurts :(
As a result I have nothing witty to say, execpt some slight comments on how this house was obviously built by drunk pirates whose concept of a straight corner was clearly different than mine. Oh, and the tile guy, he's an asshole who can't figure out that you just don't fill 3 inches with grout because your to lazy to get off your fat ass and cut another row. bastard...
Anyways, the new setup (minus the tools still on the fireplace)

Here's the result of chipping away at 3 inches of grout for a while...(god i hate you tile man....i really hate you)
And the closet afterwards with 1x4 and base cap installed (not filled yet):
