Because today is the day we make the inaugural batch of "Babies first Barley wine" :)

Since I destroyed my last pot, I haven't been able to make any new beers (mental note, bleach and aluminum are not friends) so Jen took pity upon me and ordered not just a new 20 quart pot, but but also the ingrediants to make a barley wine beer (probably my favorite style).

Of course a little good juju doesn't hurt, so we just busted open a few of the last bottle from the wedding brew we made last year. Caught a boil over just in time after adding the target hops, so I'm just relaxing right now and thanking god that this laptop has wireless. ;)
