morning glory
I could have told you years ago that travelling downtown wasn't for me. I'm just not the kind of guy who likes to sit still for an hour, after driving 1/2 hour to the train station, just so I can go someplace and do the exact same stuff I can do just by rolling out of bed. Heck I could do it in bed.
In my mind, when all is said and done, that's 3 hours I could have spent doing important things...playing with Connor, spending time with Jen, maybe even a little video game action.
I think perhaps I would feel differently if the Metra had wireless...but even then, I'm already shoehorned into a tiny little seat, I can't imagine even having the room to move the mouse. I mean I already have an excel sheet of the last year of syslog messages to go through, but I just can't think of how I'd navigate in that tiny area. I could sit down below if I wanted, but then because of the morning rush, you end up sitting with 3 other strangers and at least up top I'm not pressed up against somebody elses fat rolls. I'll save that pleasure for when I fly to CA in a few weeks.
That reminds me, I hear the Blue Dragon demo is out on xbox live....I need to remember to download that. I have huge hopes for it after playing Dragon Quest 8.....let's hope it's the first good RPG for the 360
now if you'll excuse me, i need to get my ass in gear
