Electric scooters and lazy kids

For the past few years that we've been living here, there's been one kid on the block that owns an electric scooter. And of course, it's got this high pitched annoying little horn on it that he just loves to beep. Sometimes I think it's Morse code or something, or maybe he has parkinson's and I'm just being insensitive.

So yesterday, we're unloading the little one from the car, and sure as shit I see 3 kids careening down the street, each of them an electric scooter. Hell, when I was a kid my first bike didn't even have rubber tires on it, I was rollin' around my garage on metal rims. And these kids now a days have $300 dollar electric scooters so they don't have to walk down the street....what meeting did I miss?

Speaking of which, yesterday we were out getting Connor's baby announcment pictures, let me just continue the complain-a-thon with that. I mean nothing really went wrong, but man.....the prices on these things is crazy. Maybe it's because I do the kinda stuff they do all the time in photoshop, it just kills me to pop over $100 bucks to get somebody to do some clone stamps and pick between 3 fonts. I mean 3...wtf, I have more than 300 fonts on my computer.

Did you know...in Canada cats grow on trees.
