2006: The year in review....at least for our life
Todaying being the first day of a new year and all I decided to think back on the past year on the events and things that have happened. Plus I'm slightly narcissistic so humor me....
1. We learned how many doors you could buy for $1000 dollars. We then found out why they were such a great deal. I later made a "how to replace a door" walkthrough.
2. I experienced my first earth quake while I was in San Ramon, CA. And I'm just fine leaving it with that.
3. Gizmo is very afraid of ceiling fans...and we now know why.
4. I changed the case on my Dell Dimension 8300 into an aluminum one I had lying around. I later added a zalman 9500 cpu cooler.
5. Somebody tried to sell me meat out of a truck.
6. We painted a lot of things. Bed rooms, doors, foyers...the list goes on.
7. We got a really freakin' awesome TV as a wedding gift from my sister. It really has changed the whole experience of watching TV.
8. On Aug 12, 2006 we were married, and took an alaskan cruise for our honeymoon.
9. Sometime around September we found out Jen was pregnant.
10. I built a pony wall....Jen talked me into it.
11. We saw Dane Cook and Trans Siberian Orchestra.
12. We brewed our first beer, Dennis and Jen's wedding ale.
13. We played and beat the following games: Star Ocean: Til the end of time, F.E.A.R, God of War, Dragon Quest 8, Devil May Cry 3: SE, Radiata Stories, Kingdom Hearts, Lego Star Wars 2, Quake 4, Final Fantasy 1&2 (on the gameboy), and Serious Sam 2.
Those are the highlights, at least as many as I can remember right now.
