outlook express rules...importing

Why can't they just offer a simple Import / Export option in the rules menu?

Thankfully I found this handy article online about how to export the rules from registry, modify the identity number and remerge. Honestly for me it's childs play once you have directions, but one has to wonder why can I export everything else but not that?

And for that matter, why does exporting your IE favorites reset their order to alphabetical? I know it's supposed to work but it didn't so now Jen has to rearrange them all. Which I guess isn't the end of the world persay.

Migrating a person to a new computer sometimes is like death by a thousand cuts. There's so much to do .....it's a little crazy really.

On the bright side, my google ad relevancy seems to have magically improved. And ABC is reairing reruns of season 2 of Lost, so me and Jen can catch up on that. I'm pathetically excited about that honestly.

So last saturday, while I was mowing the lawn, Jen decided that the half dead bushes at the end fo the driveway had to go. So after removing 6 of those little bastards (and begging our friend Tim to haul them away in his trailer and burn them so we didn't have to pay the city to take them) we were left with this lovely blue mushroom:

Which was obviously being hidden by the bushes mostly. So we were scratching our heads about how to deal with this (we were going to just put sod down, no more fancy landscaping we couldn't keep up with) but obviously it woud look a little stupid. On a whim I called the village asking about it, and it turns out that it's not supposed to be like that at all. Sometimes, I was told, they pop out of the ground as things settle over the years. So she said she'd put it on the list and somebody would be around to "basically pound it back into the ground"

whiskey tango foxtrot?

For some reason, it just blows my mind that they can drive this thing back into the ground like a railroad tie and not break the pipes. But they must have done just that, cause here's the after shot:

Crazy huh?

- Of course, equally as crazy is the idea that your laptop could burst into flames. Of course putting it on carpet probably isn't the smartest thing to do after all.

- The batman corvette? Not sure what I make of this...but it is kinda cool....kinda...
