relevancy and you...
Boy, those google ads up top on my site aren't even close to being relevant are they?
The beer site is fine, everything else works, but for some reason I can't figure out my current index template just doesn't mesh well with google's JavaScript. I've tried a lot of html changing around, but so far no luck. It's really bugging me because I might as well take them off then, i've stopped getting any money (not that it was ever alot) and they're all about hurricane Katrina donations?
what kind of fucking moron still wants to donate to hurricane Katrina? I suspect it's just their default ad for when they don't know what to serve up.
It's got to be something with the css sheet...pure html works just fine, it's only when css is mixed in does it go haywire.
- Scary.....driver drags motorcycle for 4 miles under his car. What shocks me is that the rider is still alive, you have to wonder why there weren't more details about the driver of the car though?
- Also scary, video of an SUV flipping...oh like 10 times, cause it swerved to avoid getting side swiped. Probably an older model explorer or something...but at those speeds just about any car would flip in a situation like that.
- Again with the youtube links, funny commercial about the intelligence of women.
- Lastly, from good old chi town, Parking ticket aide roughed up by cop because she wouldn't void his ticket on his personal car. A cop wanting to get out of a parking ticket because of abuse of power? Inconceivable!

As far as the google ads go... when your site was down every single ad had to do with data backup and recovery...I'm assuming due to the words hard, drive, and crash on the page...kind of ironic eh? When nothing else works, the adsense starts to...

Ironic isn't it?

Might try looking over Google's suggestions for placement. May yield better results for ya!

Yeah, I've tried ads on top, on bottom, on the side, in the middle. Nothing.
I've also gone to movable type and google both for help. The very helpful people at movabletype couldn't figure out anything, and the google tech support basically said it's working (one in twenty shows an ad for USB adapters) and that I need to wait two weeks.
