It was only a matter of time before survivor stories started coming out of the New Orleans area. - Here's two people's account of the whole ordeal. It's quite an interesting read honestly. Assuming it's true, I think it really shows the lack of planning in the entire state for something that every claims to have seen coming. Why is it Florida, who get's hit with storms all the time, doesn't have this level of problems? I mean I understand that florida isn't under sea level, and open to flooding...but is that reason enough for the disparity? Seems to me that a 14 year old who spends his days playing Starcraft could have done a better job of managing resources than this.
