I bought a Pentax
I bought a Pentax Optio S4 online a few weeks back (to replace my Sony Mavica FD-87) for a # of reasons:
- Small, easily portable
- built in memory rather than floppies
- higher megapixel rate (1.3 vs 4)
- geek factor
So far the camera is great, it's small size means i can take it with me without feeling conspicuous. The pictures are just as good really as the Mavica, but I can take a lot more.
On the down side, the charger is external (you have to remove the battery physically....built in charger is not included and has to be purchased separately) and I miss being able to sit down at any computer and pop in a floppy and pull them up. The little cable that comes with it is a pain to plug in, but it works faster for sure and holds more.
Anyways, the main reason I'm posting this is I just *HAD* to share the carrying case for this camera
Good use for an old Altoid tin, eh?
